Installing a pickup in my classical. Recommendations?

I'm going have a pickup installed in my 1994 Dauphin classical. I need to plug into a PA for weddings, etc.

What would you guys recommend?

I installed a K&K pure classic in mine and love it. The only thing I would change is I would forgo the preamp and volume control package that I put in. It's just too big and heavy a thing for such a light guitar. Unless you have a reason not to be passive, that would be my recommendation.

Ditto on the K&K Pure Classic. Put one in my Cordoba F10 flamenco a couple of months ago and it's been great for gigs. I tried the double-sided tape option first and wouldn't really recommend that. They ended up falling off within a few weeks. Since I gel superglued them in, they havent budged.

I didn't want to drill a hole in my C12 classical, so I use an Audio-Technica AT831b lavalier mic on that and it's great as well.

I like the Baggs Lyric and Anthem. Excellent for steel string and classical.

I use K & K on all my guitars. They work great. No need for a battery. I use a pre-amp but you don't have to

Another vote for the K&K. The beauty in my opinion is no batteries or extra weight. Their external preamps allow tweaking to perfection, but even without, they sound great, plenty of gain w/o lugging additional gear.

That said, I have a few friends who really like the Barbera. So, I hope to try one someday, but note they are a more 'intrusive', labor intensive installation.
