NUD and a Question
Hello, my wife got me a Martin C1K for Christmas to upgrade from the Mitchell I was playing before. Long story short I love it, very musical, tone is sweet, loud, and resonant. The intonation is fabulous, and a huge improvement over my old uke.
My question though, is does anyone know of a good resource for ukulele tabs, music, or tutorials? And also looking for some uke players to start listening to. My favorite guitarists play fingerstyle whether its folky (a la Nick Drake), rags (like Gary Davis or John Hurt), or blues (Lightnin Hopkins, RL Burnside). Any info is appreciated.. Thanks!

LaPalma, try my ukulele site. www.boiseukulelegroup.com for the basics - chord charts, basic instructional materials, song sheets, etc.
For fingerstyle repertoire, I recommend Mark Nelson's books www.mark-o.com. He also has slack-key lessons on JamPlay.com Hope this helps you get going........ |

Congratulations on your new C1K!
The UU (Ukulele Underground) forums are a great resource for all things ukulele. http://forum.ukuleleunderground.com/forum.php Last edited by kkimura; 12-30-2014 at 10:11 AM. Reason: speling |

I've heard good things about the C1K. Wish I could get my hands on one to try out. |
