Default Legendary Luthiers 4: Ray Kraut and Somogyi and apprentices owners meet TAMCO UK

Following an idea that came up on the Ray Kraut build thread for Jon Barclay my next Legendary Luthiers event will be on the 31st October.

It will be a meet for owners of Ervin Somogyi and his apprentices guitars and Ray will be doing a talk in the evening followed by a meal.

Ray will be bringing along a Modified Dreadnought, probably in this spectacular Koa set.

Let me know if you are coming, numbers will be limited to twenty.

What a pity - that week is school half-term in the UK, so I will be away with my family. I could come to TAMCO instead, but seeing Ray Kraut and his guitars is probably not worth a d-i-v-o-r-c-e ... almost!

Have a great time.

Cheers,
Steve

Relative to the date may I assume there is no dress code?

What an awesome program this is. Maybe someone on this side of the pond might take the cue.

I can't come to this event Trevor

It would be great to meet Ray face to face, and bring along my guitar so that others could appreciate the result of what he does (although the Mod D he's bringing is going to be another beauty!), but I've got work commitments abroad that can't be changed.

I'm sorry I'm going to miss it, it would've been great to catch up & meet some other AGFers.

Jon

I'll also be there; hopefully my Kostal Mod-D will too.

Looking forward to it,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Yes please bring it, I am hoping there will be several Kostals.

Fifteen of the twenty tickets are now sold.

I should also have a used Somogyi soon.

I have a work trip to Canada and the USA around about the time of this event, but if it doesn't clash I'll come along - assuming that there are any tickets left!
