Default 24" computer montitor

I need to replace my old computer monitor. I'd like a 24" flat one to use with my Macbook Pro and Logic. I'll also use it for everything else, too. Recommendations please. Thanks.

Thanks KevWind.

I ended up purchasing a Viewsonic. If I don't like it, I can send it back, but hopefully it will be fine.

For future reference, unless you're doing photo or video editing or gaming, pretty much any 24" monitor should work for you. They are available on the used market for about $25 and up.

Thanks phcorrigan. I also use my computer/monitor for working with Logic, music production and notation software.

My recording setup is a 14" M1 MBP plus a 32" LG 4K screen directly behind it. I run Console (UAD) on the laptop screen and expand Logic to fully fill the LG. The LG was cheap, maybe $300 or so and is not something I'd use for Photoshop or ReSolve but I did calibrate it and it's okay for YouTube videos and more than fine for Logic.

If you only get a 24" monitor, don't buy a 4K unless you can run it at a lower pixel resolution or everything on it will be teeny tiny.

I'm on a 2023 MacBook Pro tied to newish 32" 4K LG monitor and Neve 88m with a OWC hub. Oh man, I'm so glad I got rid of the desktop computer! I might record something in my living room, edit in a coffee shop for an hour, walk home and put in on the big monitor for a while.. When the wife gets home we use it as in only TV for movies and stuff. So very happy. Great rig.
