Default Outlander?

If you have the Starz network is anyone watching Outlander?

Outlander is a British-American television drama series based on the historical time travel Outlander series of novels by Diana Gabaldon.

In 1945, married World War II nurse Claire Beauchamp Randall finds herself transported back to Scotland in 1743, where she encounters rebellion and the dashing Highland warrior Jamie Fraser.

It is very well done and filmed in Scotland. Great show highly recommended.

Both my wife and I enjoy the show. One thing that I think counts against it is that if you read reviews online or summaries of the novels, you are going to think it has wall-to-wall time travel. Knowing the general plot of the series, and knowing that it was Ronald D. Moore, I thought it was going to have wall-to-wall time travel. I was pleasantly surprised that it is much more a period piece than an episode of Dr. Who.

I am happy about that too. I have read some synopsis of the books and while they are following the spirit of the books and not the letter it is still a great story and not sure what will happen next!!

I am a HUGE fan of the Outlander novels. Ron Moore is doing a fantastic job with the Starz series IMO. There have been a few instances where the show doesn't follow the book, but that's to be expected.

I am trying to stay away from the books so I don't spoil myself.

My wife and I watch the show, avidlly...I have also read the novels, starting years ago. We don't have Starz, but we wait to binge-watch, on Hulu, or Amazon, whichever comes up with it first.

It's a nice respite from the techno action fare, or the cute animation movies. It's a really good, engaging story, and pretty good try at history, too, with some artistic license, of course...
