I don't mind AccaDacca played on an acoustic, but those sappy girl-song rearrangements are just way too wrong.

If you go to Webster Dictionary and look up Rock and Roll it should say=AC/DC. My favorite rock band ever and it is what I play a lot of on my SG (go figure).

Angus solo at about 1:22:00 during let there be rock is proof he is a guitar god.

I would have to agree..I could not imagine Big balls being bashed out in that kind of composition in an Aussie pub in the 70's..I know it is what it is....but it isn't for me..

Hmmm....I do like acoustic covers, but that's not in the spirit of the song IMO. Turned it into elevator music. My preference is to carry some of the nasty into a cover like that.

At least the guy REALLY does it his way, when he does it his way. Gotta give him that.

Growing up in the 80's, my dad had a decent record collection.
When I got old enough to dig through it myself, I found some zepplin, doors, beatles, and ACDC High Voltage. That album is still my favorite. Played the heck out of that one. Got to see them once too. I think it was the Thunderstruck tour.

I had a feeling the Kozelek covers wouldn't be popular. Worth a gamble though. Myself, I think that they're not in the spirit of the originals is fine, as well as being pointed, intentional. His version of Rock 'n' Roll Singer, where the original is a bit 'told you I'd make it' sounds more like its a humbled admission of failure, a bit of an anthem for us failed musicians. In most cases I haven't heard the originals, I only know their hits really. This is a vague phrase I suppose but these covers are a bit zen - I think they're what ACDC might have sounded like had they put childish things aside. (There's still time, lads...) I prefer Kozelek's own songs although not the last two sketchy albums, although he is doing interesting things on nylon string guitar in alternate tunings nowadays on the Sun Kil Moon albums, not something you hear too much of.

Then again I had a vasectomy so you could just put it down to that.

Acdc albums are the soundtrack of my life ,

Too many great songs to choose only one....

Among my favourites are:

ride on,aint no fun waiting down to be a millionaire, squeeler, rock n roll singer, little lover, crapsody in blue , high voltage , gone shooting, let there be rock , touch too much , night prowler, and so many more....

If you want blood live record is among the best live recordings of all time ....

And of course back in black that album is just perfect....

Long live acdc !

Have a drink on me, thunderstruck and hard as a rock.

Interviewer: some people claim you've made the same album seven times.
A young: that's bullXXX, we've made the same album eleven times.
