Default New Guitar Bedell MBA 17g

Purchased a new guitar and thought I'd give a minI review and of course post some pics..

It plays very well and I prefer it over my Larrivee dread. Intonation is spot on. Very responsive with some dynamic range punch when you push it a bit. Yes it is chinese made I would prefer a usa or canadian made but couldnt touch the specs for the price if it were.
Bedell Mba 17g its a 2013 leftover.
- Body: Orchestra

- Fingerboard: Ebony
-grover sta tite open tuners

Now for the pix...

Man I need to get a bigger monitor. Beautiful guitar!! These are real lookers! I didn't think to get one of the cedar topped Bedells but I'm wondering what they're like now. Congrats!

If this were a taylor or martin or larrivee or froggy or whatever it would've easily cost thousands. This one cost me $500.00 total. Yup $500. My Larrivee cost over 1k and this plays better, intonation is spot on , sounds better, has way more inlay work, records better etc. Sorry Jean L. but its true at least imho anyway.

Beautiful guitar, I had a MBA17 like yours. I bought it used from GC and had to return it. It was stolen from someone and sold to GC a week before I got it. Pretty nice guitar and the MB stands for Molly Bedell, Tom's wife. Enjoy!!!!

When you change strings, check to see if the tuners are loose. The small screws on the back of mine were really loose on several and couldn't really be tightened.

I think the two old hippies are Tom Bedell and Breedlove, cannot remember his first name. It not Larry.

My understanding is that Tom Bedell is one hippie and his wife is the other hippie. Breedlove is owned by Two Old Hippies.
