Don Musser Neck joint
Does anyone know what kind of neck joint Don Musser uses on his guitars.
I have a guitar that needs a possible neck reset. I've tried to find his contact information but none is available. |

I've worked on a couple of his guitars, but never his neck joints. However, he is a member of the AGF, and his email is listed as: dmussergtrs"at"yahoo.com
Try and write. |

I believe it's a standard dovetail joint.

Thank you for the information. I was able to contact Mr. Don Musser via email. He was very kind and explained to me the construction of the neck joint. It is a butt joint glued with titebond, with two 1/8 threaded rods that that go through the neck block for reinforcement.

The guitar was built in 1999. It has no truss rod.

Ah, a mere youngster. That'd put it at probably near #207?
