Excellent selections there, JR.

In addition to those, I've been digging Pat Metheny's New Chautauqua for quite a while (probably because it's so similar to the type of stuff I'm currently trying to write) and a few Acoustic Alchemy discs.

Looks like I have a few pieces to check out.

Here are a couple for anyone else:

Steve Stevens - Sadhana on the Taylor 1 CD. Wow. He also has a CD out on his own - released 2/2000 - good stuff.

Bonepony - all acoustic style band. Difficult to categorize, but very upbeat, good lyrics. I saw them open for Bob Seger about 4 years ago and was blown away. They have 2 CDs out - "Stomp Revival" and "Traveler's Companion." Both are very good.

Hope you get the opportunity to enjoy them.

Just about anything by Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds-
Most people don't know about the dynamic duo-The Dave Matthews Band is the first (if only) thing that comes to people's minds when they hear his name. They are missing out...
