I've read a lot of Stephen King, but nothing recently. I waded through the deep waters of the Dark Tower series. It was good, but rather long-winded. Didn't bother seeing the movie.

I may check out the novel that the OP presented. Sounds interesting.

I was excited when the Dark Tower movie came out but after all the bad reviews I never went to see it. In all fairness, I rarely go to the theaters. Hoping that the moving makes it to NetFlix.

I downloaded a copy after seeing your post here, and reading a sample.
Generally I only read non-fiction. But I too thought it was a very good book.
