Default Please stop it.

I'm not a Les Paul guy. I've tried over the years to like them, love the sound they make in the right hands, but they are just not for me.

However, the recent profusion of PRS Singlecut posts has awakened some serious guitar lust.

There is severe danger that I may be diverted from my quest for a third Rickenbacker.

But, dang, those SE models with the wraparound tailpiece are so reasonably priced... and so good looking...

Please stop!

David, there have been lots of PRS threads recently. I don't have one either. The SE is a fine quality guitar at an affordable price.

I say go for your first PRS rather than your third Ric.

David, I do have an American (Johnny Highland) PRS and they are awesome, one of the smoothest trems I have used. I have looked at SE's in the stores and have not played one but the build quality and finish looks great. I may try one myself at some point. I have seen a few on the local CL recently -- Darwin

David, Sweetwater has these for $545 shipped! Tremonti SE.

I can't put it down. My LP is scared.

I bought a Custom 24 this past Summer, what a wonderful guitar.

Hope this helps, David!

BTW, they are nothing like a Gibson; they are SO much better!!!

I, for years, wanted a "real" Les Paul when all my guitar mates wanted, and bought, Stratocasters. Somehow I ended up with a telecaster (which I love) but also managed to get a nice old Les Paul. You know what? I just didn't take to it, as much as I wanted to, and after a couple of years eventually sold it.
Hope that helps!

Guilty as charged, Marty. I should have known better.

I'll shut up until the next NGD, and then pretend that none of this ever happened.
