Foot punch in-out for GarageBand ?
Does anyone know of a foot punch pedal that will punch I/O for GarageBand??

No, but I made something that did the job by stuffing the circuit board from a USB keyboard inside a dictation machine footpedal - both bits from a car boot sale. It works really well - using it with Logic I have it configured so that the left switch is start/stop, the right switch is record in/out and the centre switch is "erase last recording".
As an alternative, the singer in my band uses a Bluetooth footpedal to scroll around the lyrics on his iPad. I expect that could be configured to work with Garageband. Pete

depending upon what mac you have, the remote control that came with some MAY do the trick. if you have an iphone or ipad you may be able to use it remotely as i do with logic. i BELIEVE that it works with garageband also. if i get a chance, i'll try it with garageband.

Thanks for replies! I just cant believe with all the gadgets out for recording on computers and Ipads etc, there is not a stand alone module for this action...
