If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Just curious, if we could have one 'superpower',
which would you choose? |

To be able to play anything I heard just once perfectly from memory.

Flying, for the fun of it.
Seeing the future for the profit...and potential prevention of tragedies.

I'd like to be faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! Oh... you said just one ... how about, play better than Tommy Emmanuel and Eric Johnson combined? - Glenn

I would teleport so I wouldn't need a car. Plus, it would help me visit my girlfriend more often as she lives rather far away.

I already have a superpower.
Toxic Hands: I can suck the life out of a set of uncoated strings in 45 minutes of play. By the end of the first set, the strings will be green in color, devoid of any sonic value, and so rough to the touch I can’t slide my fingers along the strings even a fraction of an angstrom unit. The strings sound like they’re made outa styrofoam. (Elixirs allow me to play the same set of strings for weeks, even months – altho a recent combo of worn out Elixir Nanos and a brewery gig on a humid day brought out my long-hidden ability acoupla months ago.) I picture being confronted by a super-powered enemy who’s threatening to tear my arms off and beat me to death with them and I’m like, “Oh, yeah? Not so fast. Watch what I do to this guitar over the next 45 minutes.” You can imagine how concerned s/he’ll be. Okay, maybe it’s just a power.

I used to have that superpower. I used Drysol on my hands maybe 4-5 times some years back and it's not a problem anymore.
As for superpowers, I'm going with teleportation throughout spacetime. If there's a cure for my curiousity, that's it.

Yeah, I keep looking for one of those magic, time-travel phone booths that Bill & Ted used. I could fix a few of my mistakes with this kind of tool...

I think I would pick the ability to freeze time, then move around in it....

It was a toss between flying like Superman or being invincible like he is. I finally picked invincible because you could get killed flying if you smack into a bird, lol.
