Decent budget priced audio interface for PC
I have an acoustic guitar and would like to do a basic mike-to-audio interface so I can record some basic tunes. This is for self-improvement, not any type of real recording effort.
Wondering if I can get some suggestions for a mike/interface combo that would allow me to record the guitar and vocals? Also any specifics to avoid if I go shopping on my own. I know there are a lot of studio guys out there, but that level of gear would be beyond my needs and budget. Perhaps best bang for buck at the low end? Thanks Gary

One alternative might be a Boss BR-80 (or BR-800 for even more flexibility).
That will provide a USB interface which works well, effects, and stand-alone recording capability as well.....

Also there is the zoom H2... and the H4Next. Both are portable recorders with built in mics. The R8... also by zoom... is a portable smartmedia recorder/interface. The Mbox -Mini, Fast Track. There are quite a few options. The question is how deep into learning a software do you want to go? ...And what do you currently have to record with/into?
