Default newbie question

I picked up a Simon & Patrick woodland cw spruce. Don't know history of guitar, but it was not treated nice. The back has lifted from the binding in one corner for about 8". Would one just glue and clamp, or should one take back off, make sure no other bracing is loose and would have access to a crack on the top.

If I take off that back, can I just heat and lift, or would I still have to router the binding?

Thanks in advance...Paid $50 for it, so no big loss if I mess up...

I fixed a huge crack in an S & P songsmith, sounds so good I decided to keep that one...

No probs,

Plywood backs are not fun to pull, yes you will have to remove the binding, in one of the links I sent you is a how to remove binding.
