Default OM Short Scale

I'm searching for that elusive guitar - a OM short scale, 1 3/4" nut, that will keep up with it's longer scaled brother in tone & volume. I know it's largely a mental thing, but with 65 years in the rear view mirror I'm gravitating to SS instruments. Willing to consider most wood combinations (Sitka/German/Adi tops with Mh/EIR/MadiRose back and sides). Thanks

There is a new OM1E-SS at Artisan. An OM2H-SS at Eddie's and another at Guitars Etc. (But it has a weird discolored line on the top.) There is an OM1Mh with a short scale at Acoustic Music Works. I think they all have 1 3/4 nut widths.

Default Short scale guitars and gettin old

I have been playing for over 50 years and I too find that , in recent years , I have gravitated toward short scales. Funny how that happens.

Hi,
I have a 2015 Froggy Bottom Deluxe model C with Adi/Bastogne Walnut B/S. It is in flawless condition (with a K&K pickup). It has 1.75" nut, a 12-fret short scale at 24.75". It is a magnificent instrument with loads of sound. A new one is about $9700. I am asking for $7800 with free shipping and a 48-hour return policy. Of course, I would negotiate a price. It sounds like it would very much meet your preferences. I have attached two pix. Please let me know if you have an interest at [email protected].
Thank very much.
