older Rainsong Guitars
Maybe a dumb question, but are the older Rainsong guitars (circa 1998) worth looking at or have they changed for the better over the last 15 years? Someone across the country is selling one and I like the undersaddle/mic combo that the newer ones don't have. I tried the hybrid series and am really impressed but don't know if the older Rainsongs might not sound as good. Any opinions????
Thanks Bryan

They did change to a layering of the soundboard some time ago. I don't know the date. Have to assume this was an approvement but I have no experience with earlier models.

Just one vote, but I have an OM1000 from 2001 and it's great. I've played out with it and recorded with it, and it's a very nice little OM. No complaints. Best regards, John
