Default PSA: OM-03r

Nice deal on a fine instrument. I see this frequently with Larrivees, I think sometimes it's because someone buys a new one without realizing that it will take as much as two years for it to season and really give you the tone it's capable of. This one doesn't look like it was played much, as the neck appears to have all of it's satin finish that normally polishes off eventually.

That looks like a pretty good deal to me. I nearly bought a similar OM-03R years ago, but it was too close to my then-new Taylor 414ce in body size and function.

It was still a very nice guitar, and if had I gotten the Larrivee first that would have been OK too. A good friend ended up with that particular guitar, and if I ever really wanted it I can buy it from him for what he paid.

That particular guitar is more than 2 years old (the Canadian factory closed a couple of years ago and current models have a herringbone rosette) so I'm guessing the original owner didn't bond with it. Pity: I love my 2006 OM-03R and after 10 years I could never see parting with it. Whoever jumps on this could potentially have a lifetime guitar.

Yeah, I saw this and nearly pulled the trigger right then & there, but I think I'm going to hold out on an OM-40r...I already have three great Larrivees with their standard bracing and would like to give the "Legacy" style bracing a whirl. Man, though...this guitar looks as though it's hardly been touched.

I've done several purchases through Elderly, BTW and they've been great to deal with.
