Default Weissenborn Case

I recently purchased a bargain Weissenborn on Craigslist that did not come with a case. I'd like to get some sort of protection for it but don't want to spend a ton. The Weissenborn is an unbranded model that measures 38"L and 15 1/2" wide at lower bout and 10 1/2" wide at upper bout.

Would appreciate any suggestions out there from the group!

A generously sized gig bag would work, even if the fit is a bit sloppy. To find a hard case, you also need to worry about the thickness too. Elderly Instruments publishes dimensions for most of their hard cases on their web site, so you can search there.

Or take the guitar to a local guitar store and try to fit a decent fit.

I have weissenborn that came without a case. I keep it out of the case most of the time, on a rack with my other guitars, but when I do need to transport it I have an old hard case that I use. It's pretty ratty and the fit is quite loose, but I pad it with some hand towels or old t-shirts. Not very elegant but it does the job.

I shipped an original Weiss for repair one time and purchased a Gold Tone case for about $120. (at the time) to do the job.
Nothing special, but it fit well and did the job.

I dunno, Check the measurements. Might work for you.
