Looking for a classical guitar
Hi All,
Looking to buy my first classical guitar with a solid spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, cutaway body and ebony fingerboard. I'd like it to be a acoustic/electric; however, if that's not possible I can always mic it. My budget is $1300.00 All comments and recommendations will be greatly appreciated Chuck

HI Take a look at a Kenny Hill New World Player models model. Google Hill Guitar Company and
all the details are there. Regards Norman2 |

You could also check out the Cordoba GK Pro Negra or the C10 (without pickup) or the ever-popular Yamaha 1200 NTX-R. I generally don't think too highly of crossover guitar sound when compared with a traditional classical, for pure acoustic sound. But if you're going into it knowing the limitations and especially if you're planning to play amplified, I think both the GK Pro Negra and the 1200 NTX-R area really excellent instruments. I'm slightly partial to the electronics on the Yamaha, but I've never played both of these side-by-side to have a specific sense of how they differ in real life. The standard line with all this advice is that you really have to get your hands on as many instruments as you can in order to make the decision that is best for you. So hopefully you'll get a good list of items to explore from people here. Good luck in your search!
