Who'll Stop The Rain - Cover
My thanks in advance to Mr Fogerty's patience and sense of humor, I dented one of his songs, though with the utmost respect, and have salvaged what I could from it here.
This is a yamaha classical and SM58 to an SA220 (my go-to rig these days), recorded to an H4 within the last hour and ingested via Garage Band. Who'll Stop The Rain https://app.box.com/s/h8n4ehmn8kp3v7a7idekkr8x94e0mzmg Thanks for the listen. |

As someone who regularly plays this song out, I say nice job. Your voice is at its best when you give it some gas, Pitar.

I see what looks like a Guild F50 Maple Jumbo in the background of one of your youtube vids, is that right? Great job BTW! I like your music!

Thanks for the listen and comments, gents.
And about putting gas into my voice, thanks for the tip. Posting to this forum is great for that and I do appreciate it. The Guild in the background of the vid is an F-412 I bought new in 1974 and has since found a better home. If curious, I paid $799.00 for that Guitar from a premium retail outlet in Roselle, Illinois. While I love the sound of a 12, learned to play guitar on them and have many hours on that F-412, I moved to 6 strings for their fundamental sound and technical possibilities. Thanks again. |

CycleBob, thanks for the comment. I like John Fogerty's writing and style. In my time he was considered "edgy". These days, not so much.

Good job.
Have you considered a soundcloud page? We could listen to many of your songs while we cruise the forum.

Thanks for the listen and comment, TB.
Going waaay back, I've been on other music hosting sites. While I have no problems with them I prefer a dead-simple file hosting site instead. I know it doesn't give the exposure music hosting sites do but that's the trade-off I'm okay with. |
