i don't believe i clearly understand the conditions of the 'contest' or the interpretation is very loose.

are people supposed to write a new song ? it seems some may be pulling from their historical works.

also, the way the challenge reads, it almost sounds like people are supposed to re-do a song arrangement from a movie, but i'm guessing the implied intent is to write a 'new' song for an existing movie.

The challenge is about arranging an existing song from a movie soundtrack. For exemple the Star Wars theme by John Williams. Even if it was done by an orchestra, you can arrange it for the guitar (or other instrument) in various way. That is what this thread is all about.

So no new song composed by you guys and yes you can bring back some old work of yours.
