Default Best OM, bang for your buck?

Any recommendations? I have an amazing Tacoma DR14 right now, great guitar...just getting a little bored with the dreadnought style and it's hard to finger pick on.

Everything mentioned are great guitars. But from the title of the thread, I am guessing that budget is a concern for you. If that's the case, I'd suggest the Larrivee OM-03 (sapele) or Larrivee OM-03R (rosewood). Both are available at very reasonable prices -- especially if you buy used -- and both are great guitars.

The best bang-for-my-buck I have ever gotten is my Silver Creek T-160 that I got for less than a nice dinner out, but you might be looking for something a little more high-end than that. What is your price range?

That gives you a lot of options. At that price, you could get a used Collings, which is what I would do. You may also look at Santa Cruz, specifically the OM/PW.

OR if you wanted to be really adventurous, the high-end of your budget would get you a custom from a few luthiers.

Just went through this search, I found that a used Bourgeois Vintage OM to be the best bang for your buck possible.

Also a used OM/PW and used Martin OM21 Special are not far off.

Hard to beat the bourgeois in terms of value though.

Absolutely agree. Try a used Bourgeois Vintage OM. You get an Adi top, EIR back and sides, Adi braces, and the expert voicing of Dana. Even if your budget was considerably higher, I would still encourage you to consider a Vintage OM.

that $ gets you into handbuilt territory, there are a couple of nice Webber OM's in the classifieds. Small shop as mentioned Santa Cruz OM's are really nice. Some nice handbuilt OM's here, http://www.paramountguitars.net/ might give you an idea of what you can get for your budget.
