Malcolm Holcombe (1955-2024)
As I started my guitar journey, during COVID, I discovered this lesser known artist. I love country blues and he had such a unique and authentic approach that hit me hard. I knew he had his struggles including ongoing health issues but it caught me by surprise that he died in March. It's sad, I really hoped to see him perform in person. I know he had his ups and downs and from what I gather he found some peace and happiness in life. I'm glad that he was able to record plenty of stuff including a great album release within the last year. But man, his album A Hundred Lies will always be my favorite. Hoping others find it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wGqyApDeiI

I did not know him, but I enjoyed his YouTube video about “going home”.

Thanks for posting. Never had heard of him before. Quite prolific with his album releases. I enjoyed the few cuts I've listened to so far.
