EIR vs MRW
Hey guys I am looking at getting a new Master series from Cordoba. What is going to be the tonal differences between a Torres with EIR vs MRW?
Thanks! |

I am a very satisfied Cordoba Master Series Torres owner...went with the basic EIR and it's a PHENOMENAL guitar. Very responsive, balanced, and gorgeous sustain. My opinion is that the difference will be mostly aesthetic. So much of the sound quality comes from the top, bracing, and your technique. EIR is a more sustainable wood and MRW is very scarce...do the right thing and go with EIR! Either way, you'll love your Cordoba Torres....they're a great value and perform at a very high leve. Dealer?
Hello Flipguitar,
Are getting it at A Sharp Music in Renton? I live in Oregon and have purchased many guitars from them and am very happy. I played Master Series Cordoba they had and it was very nice. I'm considering ordering a Cordoba from them.

To be honest I am getting the MRW mostly because of aesthetics and uniqueness. I was curious if there would be much of a sound difference.
As for A Sharp music, I have never been there. I am doing the deal online actually. |
