Problem using a pedal tuner
Hello acoustic guitar lovers!
So I have this problem with my acoustic guitar... I have a hard time tuning with a pedal tuner like the Boss TU-2 and the Korg Pitchblack. The tuner goes crazy and doen't understand wich string I am playing. It seems that MAYBE it works a little better when I lower the volume on the pickup. Of course, I make sure that no other strings are ringing while playing the string i want to tune. I have a Martin DX1RE with a Fishman Classic 4 pickup (under-saddle pickup type). Any idea someone? |

It should be the first inline, if possible.

^^^This...
And...if you are running it with a battery, check/replace it. Weak/dead batteries in tuners can cause them to act erratically.

Yup, so at a gig last night, I plugged the AC outlet for my Boss TU-2 and my acoustic straight into it, then into the DI and I had no problem tuning this time. Yay!!
