I'd say less. $799.

Depends on if they include the battery or not?
The Youtube video made clear the battery was an "accessory option".

My guess is $599 and $799 with battery.

I hope so, but wouldn’t that price essentially make the L1C obsolete?

Gang,

I did a Google search on "Bose S1 Pro", and a European music store shows it at 599 EUR (battery optional).

That would have it in the neighborhood of $749, I think...

Don

p.s. Just received a brochure via US Mail from Guitar Center that has it at $599 US (minus battery, which is optional).

Yeah, you can't price this as high as the Compact, which is for larger spaces than the S1 what with a tower, more drivers and a larger woofer--except of course if you were updating the Compact line with say a built in Tonematch power port or a mixer, for starters.

See if you can get someone to demo it with vocals. Many of us are interested.

Interestingly, this is the first time Bose is Exhibiting at NAMM.

Hopefully the S1 Pro is a "teaser" and they have some other new products to show off.
Now that I see the S1P.... Wouldn't it make sense to introduce a larger model in the line up... Perhaps a S2 and S3!

The S1P is going after a particular market segment.
Which crosses over to the home user, practice unit and to the small gathering performers.

If they price it at $799 + Battery.. That seems "steep" in my opinion. On the other hand,
The L1C alone is $999. Add the T1 at combined cost of $1500...
Maybe Bose will surprise us with new model in the higher price points.

Guess we'll see in a couple days!

Real mysterious stuff going on with this thing. It's out one minute and hidden the next. Posted on sites and then removed. Wonder if there are issues? Very bad product launch.

I’m interested in this unit. It would replace my Mackie FreePlay. The only problem with the FreePlay is the low fixed gain preamps. Bose does this better.

"That's what she said!"

Ironic that I just sent an order in for a QSC K8.2 to use as a floor monitor.

Same thing embedded

At the end of the shop webpage dedicated to Bose S1 Pro, they mention Bose Tonematch T4s and T8s mixers... Did anyone heard of that? Are they new Tonematch mixers?
