Intonated My Banjitar
Finally my Dean banjitar doesn't sound out of tune. I tried making a compensated saddle which is hard to do without wood working tools. Nobody makes compensated saddles for banjitars. I've looked everywhere. I tried one more experiment, bought a wooden adjustable bridge from Allparts (GB-0501) & pulled the saddle off. Perfect! Doesn't sound out of tune anymore! Might also be partly because the action is a little lower & I'll lower it a bit more next string change. Frustrating to play something that sounds slightly out of tune all the time but that's over now.
