Default Loose brace....

I changed the strings on my Taylor 814 and noticed an extraneous vibratory tone . I installed a different set of strings, new bridge pins, and a new saddle. I used a lighted extending mirror to see if the bridge plate had split or something else obvious was amiss. I then removed the strings and very carefully felt around inside before finding a long top brace that was loose at one end and for lack of a better term, was flapping when I played it.

I emailed the Taylor Service Center, and we'll see what happens. While this is disappointing, I felt good about being able to identify the issue and am glad that I have a few other Taylor "back-up" guitars.....

Shouldn't be too expensive to get repaired...
