Default Pete Huttlinger's McGuire's Landing

Here is my recording of McGuire's Landing by Pete Huttlinger. Listening is most optimal through a good set of headphones or speakers. This was played on my 2003 Taylor 914c.

That was really very well done, Rick! What a lovely piece of music. I used to play this song but haven't played it for so long that I have forgotten how to play it. It was so nice to hear it again.

Very nice recording and very well done, Rick!

Glenn, Thanks for listening! I did a search and this hasn't been posted many times. It feels good to record again, it has been a while.

Rick - very nice, well played, thanks for recording this! I’ve been working on this song myself and you’re a bit ahead of me on the pace. My first real venture into DADGAD and it’s so beautiful. Pete was a genius...such a loss.

Excellent! I just started on this one month ago or so.

Really nice playing, Rick!

You seem to have the polarity/phase reversed on one channel, giving this a really exaggerated width and a kind of unstable sound recording-wise. Try reversing the polarity of one channel - you should be able to do this in your DAW and see if you like the sound better. I think it sounds like a really nice recording, after changing this.

Great job! I’ve always liked this tune and Flowers of Edinburgh a lot...did much justice!

Hi Doug, I wish I could detect the polarity or phasing you referred to here. I would like to correct this if I understood what the problem is. Any input is appreciated.
