qsc K8's (2012)
There is a decent set of these for sale locally. Being almost 12 yrs old...what would pay for a single speaker or pair?
What improvements did they make on the 8.2? How about bass response for just acoustic and vocal? Thanks for any info you can provide! |

I own four of the K8s. The original ones.
They’re fantastic. I routinely use a single one for solo gigs. My band uses a pair plus a sub as our mains (and another as a front fill, if necessary). Used, they still go for around $500. |

I still own one K8 and three of the newer version K8.2. K8.2 has an integrated DSP unit (Digital Sound Processing with rudimental EQ), offers HiZ (high impedance) on channel two (great for passive pickups) and comes in a floor wedge format.
If you don't need any of these features, go for the K8. Great piece of gear ! I love mine !
