1956 Gibson J45 - Price Drop $3975 shipped
Here is a very nice Gibson J45 from 1956 in very impressive condition. All original except the tuners, which are exact replacements. There is a good amount of lacquer checking, but no issues with this guy. She is stable and good to go. Bone pins and bone saddle with lots of life left. Small maple bridge plate. Vintage frets are a little worn but still has meat on them. Playability and setup is perfect. Sound is very warm and jangly. Nice bell like trebles. Best J45 I've ever played by a long shot including my old 59' J45. SOLD shipped and insured/PayPal gift. Lots of references on this forum, the UMGF and the Collingsforum. Comes with unoriginal hardshell case. I still have the original chipboard alligator case, but it is in rough shape. To the true collectors, it is available.
Not sure why posting pictures never work for me. Photobucket link here: http://s951.photobucket.com/user/eri...?sort=3&page=1 Cheers

Not in rough shape
I was at the Folk Shop in Tucson AZ last week and played a 1942 J45 Gibson that was beat to heck and they wanted $5,600 for it. This one looks mint in comparison. I do have to say I have never owned a Gibson but that J45 was one of the nicest sounding, and interestingly, was easy to play.
Good luck with your sale. Jeff
