I've heard of the band but I've never heard any of their songs ... or perhaps I have heard them on the radio but had no idea it was them.
Sounds like One Direction has great material for a new song ... "Cry".

I have never heard of One Direction, but I am sure I am devastated, might even have to jump in front of a train or something. What is this world coming to?

Another boy band bites the dust. Oh well....they tend to have a relatively short shelf life anyway, don't they?
Just for fun, I'm trying to remember the boy bands I've seen come and go....let's see..... Backstreet Boys Boyz 2 Men Menudo Hansen I'm sure there are more, but they tend to be rather forgettable anyway.

Actually, Hansen grew up and began making much more serious and critically-respected music. But because they’re no longer cute (and, IIRC, all are now “spoken for”), their sales tanked.
