A little help in pursuing a dream
Hey all,
If you can spare about 30 seconds, it would go a long way to helping me realize a dream of opening my own business. I was nominated to win a $5k website design/hosting package from a local company, and I'm one of three finalists. If you would go to www.thejuvogroup.com/vote and vote for Dog Tired Guitars, it would help out a bunch. You can vote 4 times from each IP address, and you won't have to register for anything. The new website will help me reach a larger audience as well as give my retail sales a shot in the arm. As we all know, it's difficult to develop any kind of business without a strong web presence, so I'm hoping the new website, in conjunction with everything else I have going on, will help to get me that much closer to opening a brick and mortar storefront. Thank you for any support! Last edited by RogerC; 03-25-2015 at 07:31 AM. |

It would appear that you are lagging behind the lady who makes panties. I voted. Come on folks, let's help him!

Well it was 33; 33; 34 panties in the lead when I just voted.
I'll use the Chicago voting method and come back 2 more times. Then I'll get my dead dog Fred to vote too! Good luck

Dog Tired's in the lead by two.
Personally, I think the fact that you build guitars and donate them to charity is going to help you immensely here. The one is leaning on relying heavily on community involvement, and the other just wants to sell sexy panties (which, let's be honest, would've gotten my vote had you not been in the running). Good luck to you! |

Well you got my vote. Post some pics in the build and repair thread. I am always interested in what folks are building.

This was a charity donation. It was raffled off to help raise money for on-the-ground needs in Haiti and Honduras Another donation. Donated to help raise money for new band uniforms for the local school band program. This one was built from 100 year old barn wood. First and only bass so far. 5 string fretless. And lastly, 2 more charity guitars. This one was built from Matt Holliday signature baseball bats and sold for $45k at auction. 100% of the money went to benefit 3 different charities. I hand-stitched the strap with baseball stitching, and I made the back of the neck look like an old bat with pine tar. No, I didn't use pine tar . |
