Do they have a morals clause as part of the criteria for their hall of fame? Football doesnt, OJ is still in there.

I grew up on rock and roll in the late 50s and throughout the 60s. In those days, rock and roll was the music of rebellion; the thought of it becoming so much a part of the "establishment" that it would have a Hall of Fame was ludicrous in and of itself.
And to some extent, that's why rock and roll today has become irrelevant. It strikes a rebellious pose, but it's all about commerce and making money. As Frank Zappa said: "What can I say about this elixir?" |
