Smile Furch Guitars' customer service - a thank you.

Dear all

I just felt moved to write a line saying how well I have been looked after recently by the customer services at Furch. To be honest, the issues have not been complicated, sourcing nuts and saddles etc. The point has been that the guitar was in fact a Stanford D1 - built by Furch but marketed by Toni Goetz's Stanford company. I am sure Toni is a lovely chap but he never reponded to a single email I sent him, so he must a busy lovely chap. Furch, depsite not having produced this model for many years have done all possble to send me bits, find me product codes etc.

Most importantly, it has always been done with enthusiasm and friendliness. I have mainly been in touch with Petra there who has responded to all my emails with helpfulness and a warmth.

Easy to remember to slate people when they don't live up to what we expect, so thought I would make sure I said a public thanks to Petra and Furch for their help.

Thanks!

Pete
PS, I have no affiliation whatsoever!

Agree, Petra has helped me a lot and Ive also dealt directly with Petr Furch, who is Frantiseks son. He was very helpful and even met me personally in Prague when i wanted some work done back in the factory on my 32SM.

Its what you would exepct from small builders, a close, personal approach and Furch is certainly doing that, good for them !

Yes. I can add to these comments. When I was shopping around and researching for my two stonebridge guitars (bought about a year apart) they answered my questions expertly, quickly and in a friendly professional style. Good people!
