Default Fishman Loudbox Mini question

Looking at picking up a Fishman Loudbox Mini. The one I'm considering has had the phase button removed, ostensibly because it was causing problems and the current owner didn't use it or need it. Question for anyone who owns one of these: Will the disabled phase button cause me to miss anything useful, in your opinion(s)?

If you have a phase button on another piece of equipment between the guitar and amp, It wont matter. If not, you may have more feedback issues.

In all the weird situations I've been in (modest compared to some) I don't remember using a phase switch to solve anything. It can probably be re-enabled, anyway.

Until you mentioned it, I never knew mine had a phase switch. I will give mine a try today and see how it works.

I would be more concerned about how the owner removed it. The circuit board could have been damaged. I would pass on this one.

Do not buy a used amp that has a circuit tampered with. Buy new with a warranty and have peace of mind.

From the manual.
Phase
Use the Phase switch to improve bass at low volume and suppress feedback at
high volumes.

Gotta wonder why they removed it?

It can be invaluable! Get a Mini with a phase switch that works.

Default Nuff said!

All your input much appreciated. I'm scratching that one off my list and will continue to look for another. Thanks, y'all!

I owned a Loudbox Mini and gigged with it. That phase button really is very useful if your pickup system doesn't include a phase reverse switch. Every room is different so I always try the phase switch both ways and listen. If it were me, I'd pass on a Mini without the phase switch.
