A commercial alternative to Tonedexter?
If that pedal does what it says it could be a strong contender to Tonedexter
1st it works with magnetic pickups which are the strongest against feedback 2nd the learning process seems very simple (from what the website says) 3rd it enables to actually emulate all your guitars with one (even your friend's guitars) Musicradar link http://www.sim-one.it/ I have to read this patent... 1) I looked at the patent and I don't see any solution to the magnetic pickup comb filtering effect... So I guess a magnetic pickup will still sound magnetic.
2) It is still Finite IR based. With an extra IIR filter for low end: Nothing new since Larry Fishman already recommended it (see Larry Fishman's article in Premier Guitar) However I have found some nice ideas, I will have to try in my personal IR process. Cuki
