Sold off AGF - 2011 Huss & Dalton TOM-M (Adi/Sinker Mahogany) - Sold
For sale or trade is my 2011 H&D TOM-M with an adi top and sinker mahogany back and sides. Both the cash price and the trade value are now set at $old with the buyer picking up PP/shipping fees.
I bought this guitar used and really love the dryness of the tone, but I find myself leaning towards a rosewood sound. The top has opened up some but hasn't fully opened up yet. Under the right player, this guitar can come very close to the Julian Lage tone on his acoustic work. The guitar is in excellent condition with the only noticeable issue being a dimple in the top just above the sound hole. Otherwise, it is in excellent + condition. For trades, I'm interested in a Santa Cruz OM with either Honduran Rosewood, Madagascar Rosewood or Coco. I'll consider Brazilian too, but I'll need to sell some of my other guitars to make that work. Thanks for looking. Last edited by Wespj10; 04-19-2018 at 09:30 PM. Reason: Sold elsewhere |

Can you post the full specs? Also how do you find the sinker mahogany contributes to the tone vs. standard mahogany back and sides?

Thanks for the question. The sinker Mahogany is dryer and has a more woody tone than regular Mahogany. The wood sounds aged much like my 1934 D with old growth Mahogany. On top of that, it has a superior look to Mahogany. Specs are the same as on the H&D site. 1 3/4" nut, 2 7/32" string spacing and 25.4" scale. Nickel waverly tuners and a Honduran Rosewood headstock plate.

Thanks for the note. H&D make an excellent guitar and the wood combo here just adds to it.
