Mostly finger style. I use a plastic thumb pic and two metal fingerpicks.

I play both ways too on my X20. About 70-80% flat picking and the rest with just fingers (flesh, but I need to figure out that thumb pick sooner than later).

On my Lucky 13 I probably play it finger style more than 95% of the time. I probably play the X20/Lucky about 80/20 and they are the only two guitars I play regularly.

You need another option for BOTH.

Like others, it depends. Finger pick both with and without a thumb pick, hybrid pick and flat pick, depend what I'm playing (and what picks I have in my pocket at the time...)

100% pick.

As I've been experimenting with nylon crossover specs, one method has been to make custom notched saddles to try different string spacings on just one guitar. 57mm is quite popular for fingerstyle, so I made one. It's too far apart. Picks don't need all of that space, and it resulted in needless reaching for the next string. 55mm is much more comfortable.

Also, with nylon, the third string has a larger diameter than both the second and forth strings, causing it to stick up and get in the way. This isn't an issue with fingerstyle, because the player reaches in to the space between the strings, but a pick floats over the top. To address this, I don't use a simple radiused saddle. I create a stair-step that allows me to control height, spacing, and compensation separately for each string. I set up the first, third, and sixth strings like normal, then raise the second, forth, and fifth strings to match the fretboard radius on the top of the strings. This causes the second, forth, and fifth strings to play slightly sharp on fretted notes. But since my stair-step approach allows each string to be compensated independently, it's not an issue.

Using a pick with nylon is a lot of work up front, but once it's dialed in, it plays like lightning.

I couldn't vote, pretty much 50-50.
For finger work I use bare flesh. Building a house and general work around the property means I never get my fingernails long enough to try picking with.

I think I mostly play with a pick, but I do spend a lot of time using just my fingers too, especially if I'm in a quiet restaurant setting. I never use my fingernails as a rule, unless I'm pulling up on the strings to make them slap the frets.

Default Mostly flatpick

I mostly flatpick, but we do have a lot of finger-picked tunes. Probably I am about 70/30 Flatpick to fingerpick. Dear Prudence sounds pretty amazing finger-picked on my P12 for sure!
