Looking good! Ahead 5-3 going into the 9th. If they keep this up, they might even get homefield advantage through the playoffs. (Not the Series though, unfortunately).

That's eight in a row! They are now 5.5 games ahead of Toronto!

Oh, man... What are we going to do if it's the Red Sox vs. the Cubs in the World Series? I lived in New England for 25 years and dearly love the Red Sox, but the Cubs have never been to the World Series in my lifetime and they have such a GOOD team this year. How can I possibly root against them?!?

Yea, 8 in a row and Boston has won all of Price's starts since early Aug. Tied with Cleveland and 1 game back of Texas but both of those teams have 1 game in hand. I hope Boston is peaking too early.

Is World Series home field advantage still based on the winner of the All Star game? Didn't the AL win?

Red Sox --- at least a wildcard after today's 10th straight win!

Today's game made it 11 in a row. Boston also struck out 23 Rays in 10 innings (21 in 9 innings) including a MLB record 11 in a row at one point.

Magic number is 2.

Amazing. The Sox win 11 straight--and many are come-from-behind wins.

They look pretty real to me, suddenly. Now they have a shot at best record in the AL.

What a difference a couple of weeks can make.

They've destroyed Detroit this year. Something like 14-2.
