I can't wait either, Todd. Unfortunately, in manufacturing, everything always takes longer than you want. We're hoping to be shipping those two models you mentioned by the end of Sept.

We're on the cusp of a breakthrough in production that we've been working on for more than a year. If this pans out, it will both increase our volume and drop our manufacturing cost per unit. I've learned to be cautious in my expectations when it comes to manufacturing, but the first small test run was highly successful. We'll know in a few weeks.

If this pans out, we should be looking pretty good in inventory on all the brown models as we move into the fourth quarter. Please keep your fingers crossed for us, and thanks again.

Thanks, Todd. You know how it is: As human beings always want something to happen faster than it should.

Honestly, though, it's going at about perfect speed for right now. Will keep you in the loop.

Wow, I can't imagine playing a pick that thick. I'm having trouble getting above 1 millimeter. Did you start thinner?

I did, but one day I went to my brother's pace and he had a thicker pick lying around (maybe 1.14mm?). I tried it and liked it, so I started experimenting with thicker ones and ended up finding I preferred thicker picks, both for the sound and the feel.

Thank you. Sorry for slow response. Was this a Dunlop?

Probably. It's been a while and I don't remember.

Just ordered a cl-fs .9 yesterday.

I'm really looking forward to using it on recordings and at live performances. I'm sure my acoustic duo partner will be incredibly jealous...

Mushin & D:

Thanks for your support and vote of confidence. I'll look forward to your reports and reviews. Just confirming that I received both your orders.

Have a great weekend, and thanks once again.

Lol! I hear ya...

Hopefully Mr. CharmedLife himself will soon have some news for us. I'm on the waiting list for 2 different ones.

Here's our website:

We have TONS of the brown material already in our barn, enough to make thousands of picks, but we're making our mistakes now, when it's cheap.

never will buy one!

Todd, as I've told numerous friends: Don't go into manufacturing unless you want to see your lifeline shorten. But I'm learning something new every day and storing it up in the few brain cells I have left from the sixties. Patience is a virtue, but I hate being so virtuous.

Good things come to those who wait....

I'll keep you in the loop,
scott
