Default West African tabs

For those, like me, who are into West African guitar and kora music, Derek Gripper is continually publishing new tabs. I'm working on 56 by Ali Farka Toure and it's a real challenge and will take me a good while to get this song down with good rhythm.

Search for Derek Gripper on "Gumroad".

Thanks for the heads up. A friend recently introduced me to Derek Gripper - great stuff!

Thanks! Did a search, now I'm going to try some of this out myself - did you see the TED talk he did? I actually had a kora at one stage, which was fun to noodle on, but challenging - especially to tune!

Yeah, I've seen that video, very good stuff. This is the most challenging music I've tried to play so far. Keeping the the rhythm with all of those pull-offs, hammer-ons etc is very hard!

But always up for a challenge, especially when the music sounds so good.

This sounds really interesting. Can some of you post some links so I can check out this genre/style?
