Very nice work...

What kind of construction did you build for the floating neck? Is it carbon fibre reinforced? What kind of neck joint was used - bolt-on?

Did you also free up the bracing for the upper bout so that it is free to vibrate under the floating fingerboard?

The carved bridge reminds me of a Somogyi bridge - very graceful,

Hi Gitarro,

yes the neck is carbon fiber reiforced and it is bolt-on. I used two screws with conical spring washwer, i.e. belleville washer, in order to compensate the umidity change in neck heel and neck block.
I used a simmetrical bracing with most part of the upper bout free to vibrate.

And... yes the bridge is Somogyi like style, I love the Somogyi and its apprentices bridge design.

Ciao,
Enzo

Hi,

please, if you can, see this video, a friend of mine is playing my guitar.

I changed the preamp from B-Band to Fishman presys Blend 301.

The B-Band never worked well and the customer care didn't help me too much

I hope you'll like it.

Thanks,
Enzo

Hi Enzo,

I am new here so I've just seen this project for the first time today. I must say the guitar looks and sounds first class - If this is what you do for a hobby you must be at the top of your field in your day job.

Do you have any others to share, or have you posted others previously?

Hi Ozzy,

thank you so much for your appreciations, actually I build more guitars, but I published on this forum only this acoustic (this thread) and this classical crossover:

Thanks again,

Very nice design and construction work Enzo - - -

Building morse code (or any code for that matter) into a guitar design, I like it.

I do like it. That sounds wonderful.

I never realised it was a transformer guitar - the way it magically transforms into electric guitar mid way through is fantastic but the acoustic version is by far the best

But seriously though, this is a wonderful instrument both to the eye and the ear.

Hi Ozzy the Dog,

you're right my guitar is magic, but its acoustic soul is the best!

Thanks for watching the video.

Hi Enzo,

Is the name on the head 'Pascawell'?
Do you have a web site?

Hi,

the logo is my surname "Pascariello". I do not have a web site, but a facebook page. I'm not a luthier, I'm engineer and building guitar is, for now, only a hobby.

(Old web site is www.vpgguitars.com)
