I'm packed, but I don't have the feeling of being ready. One way or the other, having not been to a jam since we went to the Keys, it's going to be good to see my friends again.

We all miss you too Tad!

Looking forward to tomorrow. A song or two in Levon's memory would be awesome. I think we should throw in a few Monkee's tunes for Davey also!

Default Good for the soul!

Can't begin to articulate how good it felt to see and hug you all, to sit around and play and listen, to hear new songs and new players......if I get confirmation from the KARS folks on Monday, I'll be announcing June 16th as the Central FL summer session right here in Merritt Island.....

Thanks to all who made the time to get together yesterday. It's such fun to hear everyone's take on songs, old and new, original or covers, that I enjoy so much. From TBondo's originals, with Keith coloring in the background, to songs by Deertick, Steve Earle, the Doors, etc. it's a real hoot.

We played a few Band songs in memory of Levon Helm, did a Monkee's song for Davy Jones.

A fun day, hope you all made it home safe. See you soon.
Jim

I just moved down from Maryland to Port Saint Lucie about 2 weeks ago. I would love to be able to join all of you at your next jam if you all don't mind a newcomer with minimal skills!

Welcome to sunny Florida John...

We almost always use a similar title announcing plans for one of our jams, So. Fla AGF... whatever.

There is one being planned over Father's Day in Merritt Island, just around the corner from you. The title of the thread is "Now Hear This!!!"
