Default Martin Thinline Gold Plus pickups on OOO guitar?

I have a Johnson JO26 guitar that I absolutely love. I want to add a pickup to the guitar.

For those not familiar with the guitar it is a 000 body style
Specs are the following:

Solid Engelmann Spruce Top
Solid African Mahogany Rosewood Back & Sides
Fully Scalloped Forward-X Bracing
Classic Butterbean Tuners
Hand-cut Abalone/M.O.P. Detailing
Dovetail Neck Joint
Grained Ivoroid Binding
Soft-V One-Piece Mahogany Neck
Rosewood Fretboard
Vintage-Style Beveled Pickguard
Traditional Diamond Volute
Bone Nut & Compensated Bone Saddle
14th Fret Neck Joint
String Spacing: 39mm
Nut Width: 46mm
Scale Length: 24.9"

My question is what kind of pickup should I add.

I am not a John Mayer fan by any means but his new signature OOO style Martin that's around 3200 bucks has a "Martin Thinline Gold+Plus Acoustic Pickup System" in it so I figured it must be pretty good?...

is this something you guys would install or is their any others that have a OOO model kind of guitar that have a different preference...

Pros and cons of the Martin Thinline GOld Plus pickups...

Thanks for reading and for your help!

Personally, I'd put a K&K Pure Western in. I'm not (at all) fond of under saddle pickups and especially Martin (which I think is still made by Fishman).

If you like UST pickups as I do the Fishman/Martin version is one of the best available.

The Natural 1 has a little more bass and is recommended for smaller body guitars like the OM's. The Natural 2 or Max version is intended for larger body guitars.

The maximum is the Natural 2. I have the Natural 1 in mine and it is great. I can't speak for the maximum. It would be best to ask someone like Maury for some guidance before you buy.
