FOR SALE 1975 Takamine Guild copy (Lawsuite guitar)SOLD
This is a superb sounding and playing Takamine copy of a Guild jumbo. It has new tuners (old ones are in case), and a recent pro setup by Custom Fretted
Instruments. There is a small ding on the top (shown), and a similar ding on the back (too small to capture in photo). The action is just right, but there is plenty of saddle for any changes wanted. This guitar is 42 years old, but has very little wear. Comes with an original (I think) hard case. You will love this guitar! Shipping will be at actual cost but will not exceed $70.00. Solid spruce top with laminated EIR back and sides. DON'T BELIEVE WHAT MAY HAVE HEARD ABOUT LAMINATED GUITARS - THIS IS A SUPERB SOUNDING GUITAR! A BARGAIN AT $425.00 plus actual freight and PayPal fees. I do not know how to post photos here but will send them on request to: [email protected] or (865)742-7495. Nice. Some of those 70's Japanese guitars are really quite nice, a great value.
I agree with you about laminated back and sides, they can be very good sounding for sure. Yairi seemed to have the lamination process down pat. Years ago I had an S Yairi 0-16 NY knockoff that looked, played and sounded better than 3 different Martins I had played.
