Barnwood tenor ukulele
Hey Guys, I built this 17.5 scale tenor uke recently. Bent it up on an old school hotpipe.
Body is green ash, neck is birdseye maple and top is white spruce. Fingerboard is mahogany with clay dots and headstock veneer is lacewood. Picked up the ash at a barn sale, it was a brace in an old timberframe barn. Super tight grain! The old wood was great to work with and bend, planning to use the rest on matching parlor guitars. Yikes, that is stunning! How does it sound? Maybe a sound/video sample is you are able? Great looking.

Hey thanks for the kind words!
The uke sounds great. I just swapped out the D'addarios for a set of Aquillas and I like them much better. Still noodling with the setup, but Hoping to get a sample up soon. Chuck |
