Default Getting Back to Mandolin

Well, had the new mandolin for 1 week and I'm starting to feel I might actually get some skills back. Played a lot of mandolin years ago but it was mostly multi-part classical stuff with a few more modern pieces.

Got one fiddle tune pretty much down, starting a second tune tomorrow. Going to work on "Tombigbee Waltz" as I like the tune and we have a waltz in the line-up.

Do have to schedule time for mandolin work and guitar. Have been doing mandolin first and then guitar, probably to get some self-esteem back. It is starting to be fun so that helps.
