Default New Faith

Just got a 2014 Faith Neptune Honeyed Sycamore Signature. Found this at Guitar Village in Farnham. Englemann Spruce top and British Rippled Sycamore back and sides. Look stunning and sounds amazing even with the 3 year old factory strings. I believe they are EXP11's.

Bght my latest National and Waterloo at GV. They seem to have conotued success - and survived thruogh 2007/8 when we ost so many good specialist shops.

I am often impressed by Faith guitars - and I think they have now replaced the Eggle Acoustic line.

A friend of mine has a FRSB45 - Drop Dreadnought - not actually a dreadnought but a jumbo - cedar over hog, and it is a beautiful instrument for around £900.

Made in Indonesia I think.

Nice looking guitar. I've got a friend on another guitar site who has had several Faith guitars. He lives in the UK - and I think you see more of those there. I have heard of some in the US as well, but I have not seen one....

Nice! FYI the Faith signature series are handmade in the Czech Republic and should not be confused with the cheap (sic) Indonesian line.

Default British sycamore

Just so's you know, that "British Sycamore" is called by a different name in the US - we call it "Maple". And it's a fine tonewood.

First one I've see. If it sounds as good as it looks, it'll be a very fine guitar indeed.

It was the 2009 models that were made in the Czech Republic not the 2014/15 models, they were made to the same high standard in Indonesia.
